6 people die every week in the UK waiting for a kidney transplant. We want to raise awareness of living kidney donation and encourage more people to consider whether making their mark by becoming a donor is something they could do.

We aim to hear from one person a day throughout 2026, whether they’re considering becoming a living kidney donor, want to learn more or to share their inspirational story of donation.
